Bank Holiday Sundays done right ✔️ 30+ degrees heat and half of East London was lying horizontal in the marshes, and half popped in to us for a Sunday roast 🥰

Phone calls to check our Lion’s Mane Mushroom ‘Steak’ is on the menu still? We get it. Marinated in beet purée, soy & garlic, then fried in garlic butter until golden, thick and juicy. With house-made peppercorn sauce, crunchy tender stem broccoli and hand-cut Maris Piper chips that deserve their own phone calls… Have you tried this yet?!

Suns out, salads out 🥗 Our Jersey Royal & Grilled Asparagus Salad is basically spring on a plate. Golden roast Jersey Royals, tossed in garlic butter until crisp on the edges. Asparagus, steamed then kissed on the grill.
All laid over locally sourced wild spinach with fresh, fragrant parsley and chervil. Then, finishing it off, with pickled red onions bringing the zing, soy-glazed seeds for that sweet salty crunch and a maple + wholegrain mustard dressing that ties it all together 🥹
Just perfect for soaking in the sun in the garden with an iced cider 🙏

Golden, crispy and dripping in pineapple honey 🍯… pretty perfect is exactly how we’d describe our crispy fried cauliflower.
Using locally sourced, fresh spring harvest cauliflower, we gently steam before marinating in black vinegar and garlic. Then it’s tempura fried until perfectly crisp and tossed in that sticky pineapple honey with a little hit of chilli oil 🌶️
Dressed to impress with fresh red chilli, crisp cauliflower leaves (minimal waste, always 😉), miso mayo, coriander, black sesame seeds and little ribbons of nori.
They’re an absolute MUST order this Spring 🌱
