Good afternoon all. The weekend is fast approaching and Friday is breakfast day at the bistro. If you’re not joining us for breakfast then come along and relax in our beautiful air conditioned space and enjoy a delicious iced latte, ice cream milkshake or a choice of 12 flavours of Wallings ice cream 🍦 Lots of fresh tasty salads and sandwiches on offer aswell as our paninis, toasties and loaded jackets.

Good evening all. We are very much still in a heatwave and our customers today have enjoyed our beautiful air conditioned bistro and lots of our summer choices. We do still have some hot options available as it’s not all about salads! Our homemade soup of the day is carrot and coriander, we have jackets, paninis, toasties and pies available. We have put an extra order in for our Wallings ice cream as this is a must in weather like this! Hope to see you all soon 😃

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!! But not us. It’s been a tough one today. Full breakfast service will resume tomorrow then we will add more salad choices as today’s proved very popular. We will still have jackets, soup and toasties on in the afternoon so still plenty of choice. Thanks to all our wonderful customers for your understanding ( we hope you enjoyed our lovely cool seating areas) well I’m off to watch the football…. It’s coming home 😊

Good morning all. Looking at the weather this week it’s looking like we are going to be having another heatwave! It’s very hot in the kitchen and the staff suffer and we can’t be having that as their health comes first. So this week we will be providing lots more choices that don’t require the ovens or fryers blasting out at us. We will have plenty of choices ( shown in pictures) including ceaser salads, Greek salad, prawn, chicken, ploughman’s or just tell us what you fancy and we will make it. Lots of freshly prepared sandwiches and plenty of cake choices. Our soup of the day will still be available as well as jacket potatoes and toasties. We appreciate your understanding and more importantly we appreciate the support from all our customers so even though you might not get our full normal menu we have added to it with more summertime choices. Our air conditioning will be on and plenty of cool drinks to choose from.
