Sensory Challenge at Lathom School!
Today was all about exploring the senses and making food fun!
Our team at Lathom ran an exciting Sensory Challenge, where students had the chance to:
- Test their taste buds with our bold chilli jelly
- Put their noses to the test with the smell jar challenge
- Discover hidden surprises in our texture pots and mystery parcels
It was brilliant to see the students getting stuck in - full of curiosity, laughter, and a few brave faces after the chilli!
At Juniper, we love bringing interactive food experiences into schools. It's about more than just meals, it’s about engaging young minds, encouraging new tastes, and making food a multisensory adventure.

Putting People First: Health & Safety Training at Juniper Ventures
At Juniper Ventures, safety isn’t a tick-box exercise, it’s a commitment to our people, our clients, and the communities we serve.
Last week, our supervisors took part in focused Health & Safety Leadership Training, designed to strengthen not just our understanding of compliance, but our culture of integrity and responsibility.
From catering teams to cleaning operatives, every role matters, and so does every voice. This session was about more than policies and procedures; it was about empowering our leaders to engage confidently, spot risks early, and champion a safer workplace for all.

On Windrush Day, children at Sandringham Primary School celebrated more than history - they explored the vibrant cultural roots of Caribbean cuisine and the importance of healthy living.
Through food-tasting, storytelling, and themed school lunches, pupils learned how the Windrush generation brought not only strength and resilience but also flavours and traditions that continue to shape our plates and our communities today.

Pasta Workshop at Manor Primary!
Last week, the team at Manor Primary School rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on Pasta Workshop and it was a huge success!
With support from Juniper Ventures, pupils had the opportunity to learn about the ingredients, techniques, and traditions behind fresh pasta making. It wasn’t just about food, it was about fun, learning, and connection.
