A little snoop around the kitchen. A week till the real cooking begins… Chef Tintin Jonsson paid us a lil visit ahead of next week’s Swilipino takeover for two weeks of Filipino flavours meeting Swedish nostalgia.
Crispy cassava tots drowned in adobo gravy, sticky short ribs, chicken inasal wings and a Sunday roast with an unconventional makeover. We’ve had a peek at what’s coming, and trust us, you’ll want a seat at this table.

The beauty of a mid-week visit is that you don’t have to rush. You can claim a corner, nurse a beautiful bottle of w**e, and let the rest of the working week fade into the background.
Step off Stoke Newington Road and slow things down. Walk-ins are always welcome for drinks at the bar, but you can secure one of our candlelit dinner booths for the evening, if you fancy it.

The countdown is finally over and my that went fast, right? We are filled with anticipation over Voice Radio returning to The Marquee lounge for another jazz night, this time with a tribute to D’Angelo. If you secured a ticket to this, consider yourself incredibly lucky!

Filipino-inspired cooking meets Swedish nostalgia, bringing bold flavours and unexpected combinations to The Marquee Moon for a 2 week residency.
Chef Tintin Jonsson is bringing her own take on Filipino cuisine to Dalston, with crispy cassava tots swimming in rich adobo gravy, grilled chicken inasal wings, sardines in a fragrant Filipino curry and slow-cooked short rib in burnt coconut sauce. Comforting dishes, punchy flavours and a little Swedish influence.
And on Sundays we’re giving the roast a Swilipino twist, with crispy lechon pork belly, Filipino-style roast chicken, adobo gravy, pickled cabbage and a stuffed Yorkshire pudding.
4th - 15th November. Dinner Wednesday to Saturday, and Sunday roasts to round off the week.
