We always love being given vintage tea sets but this one really did bring some extra excitement - do you remember watching Charles and Diana get married? And did you enjoy a tea party that day?

This weekend we have the customer favourite, Victoria sandwich, lemon cupcakes, salted caramel cupcakes, and fruit scones - all homemade in our little shop at Merton Abbey Mills. We think you really can taste the difference when baked on site!
We will also have freshly-made sandwiches and salads, sausage rolls (baked on site), and for this week only pear and raspberry trifle 🍐 🍓
And our iced tea is brewing as we speak - we hope to see you there!

We invite you to join us for the National Tea Moment at 2pm on Saturday 13 June
The National Tea Moment offers us the chance to pause and raise a cup of tea as a collective gesture of reflection and togetherness. This year’s moment carries a historic significance, as it commemorates what would have been Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s centennial year
Please join us at Willow Bough Tea Rooms at 1.45pm for a free cup of tea, and we will raise our cups together at 2pm. We hope to see you there!

What people say
Willow Bough Tea Rooms in Merton Abbey Mills is a charming and delightful tea room that specializes in traditional afternoon tea served on fine vintage-style china. The tea rooms offer an experience of splendour, sophistication, and sumptuousness that is hard to find elsewhere. The homemade afternoon teas, ploughman's, and delicious homemade cakes are all made with love and care.
What sets Willow Bough Tea Rooms apart is their dedication to providing a personalized experience for their customers. They go above and beyond to cater to the needs of their customers, as evidenced by the recent funeral they catered for someone very dear to the owner's family. The coffee cake mini bites with raspberries were a nod to the 89th birthday cake they made for Margot last year when she asked for a coffee cake decorated with raspberries. It was an honour for them to cater for Margot one last time.
The tea rooms are also open on weekends from 11 am-4 pm, making it the perfect spot for a refreshing cup of tea and a piece of cake. Customers have expressed their gratitude towards Willow Bough Tea Rooms on social media platforms, thanking them for helping them do something special for their loved ones' birthdays.
Overall, Willow Bough Tea Rooms is a must-visit destination in Merton Abbey Mills if you're looking for an unforgettable afternoon tea experience. Their attention to detail and personalized service make them stand out from other tea rooms in London.
