Happy St Patrick’s Day everyone! Sadly only Arsenal fans will be able to enjoy our St P’s beers tonight as it’s an Arsenal home game. However, not to be outdone and because we think that St Patrick, consummate snake banisher, was probably hard enough for two-day drinking we invite you to or Hair of the Dog event tomorrow Wednesday 18th. And we’ve even got an Irish session playing. All draught Irish beer £6 a pint! Poster done by fab local artist over on that Instagram.

St Patrick's Day has been rather scuppered by Arsenal playing a match tomorrow, but we haven't abandoned St Pat entirely. We will be staging a special 10-minuite performance by the world championship-level dancers of Crosbie McGeown Irish Dance School, a school with nearly 40 years of excellence, featuring past pupils of Riverdance training school. Sadly, you may have to be an Arsenal fa to enjoy it.... BUT look out for news of St Patrick's HAIR OF THE DOG!

It’s England vs Wales in the women’s Euros on Sunday and thanks to the generosity of Lost and Grounded Brewers we can sell their delicious Helles lager for £3 a pint for as long as the keg lasts on the night! Why are also having a battle of English v Welsh whiskies with The English Distillery and Penderyn Distillery offerings at £4 for a single.

(It’s going to be hot on Sunday so remember to rehydrate. We’ve got plenty of low alcohol beers and the delicious Gordon’s 0.0 gin).

Archie loves it when a plan comes together!

Thanks to Archie and Ade we got the projector working yesterday and we now plan to show a lot of the Women’s football Euro games. Sadly we can’t show every single one because reasons. Included here a list of games we can’t show. Very unfortunately it includes first two England games.

We will have sound on silent for most games except England or Wales ones. Unless there is very popular demand for sound.

For the next few days between matches Wimbledon might be on, at staff members’ discretion.

What people say

The Lamb, located on Holloway Road, is a beautiful pub that specializes in local real ale and keg beers. The pub has a splendid atmosphere and is a favorite among locals. Regulars have even created an amazing Lamb diorama that is a must-see. The Lamb also offers New River cask, which is always enjoyable and comes with an interesting backstory. The pub hosts events like the long-awaited autumn gala, which promises to be a night of glam(b)our, extravagance, live music, drinks, canapes, friends, joy and drinks again. Goodie bags and raffles are also part of the event. Tickets for this event are available on Eventbrite or can be purchased in the pub for just £20. Despite the high temperature during summer months, The Lamb cares about its customers' comfort and safety; hence it remains closed on such days. Overall, The Lamb is an excellent place to visit for great beer and a fantastic atmosphere.
