Cornerstone Cafe is a welcoming volunteer-run coffee shop in Plaistow, London serving homemade soups, sandwiches, cakes and hot drinks. Home of the Cornerstone Frothy Coffee and traditional bread pudding, visitors are invited to come in for 'a cuppa and a chat' from Wednesday - Friday 10am-3pm. Here is What's on in March!

With the closing of Choir and Singing Mamas, as well as the winding down of Olders group at the end of March, there is a bit of change going on at Cornerstone. But with change comes room for growth and new things, like these beautiful spring flowers!

It'll be exciting to see what comes along next.

Our Community Choir is coming to an end and we want to say a big thank you to Ben, who has composed and patiently taught us all how to sing beautiful harmonies and grow in confidence. You have done more for all of us than words can describe and we hope your job goes really well! Thank you!

This month we say goodbye to our wonderful choir who will having their last performance at the Open Mic Night on the 20th February.
Our other groups are happening as usual, which is fantastic!
We also have some calendars left, which will now be discounted to £7.50, so do grab one whilst you can!

Happy New Year! Here is what's happening in January. Our Cafe is back up and running from Wednesday 7th January and the groups return the week after.

We've got lots to look forward to this December. All our usual groups, plus Christmas events to get you into the festive season.

On top of that, our Cake Recipe Calendar is available to buy - the perfect Christmas present for friends and family who love to bake or just want to try it out! Available in the cafe from the 8th December - £10 each.

To reach this coffee shop on Barking Road in London using public transport, you can take the Underground Jubilee line to Plaistow station and then walk south for 5 minutes. Alternatively, there are several bus routes that stop near the coffee shop including the 147, 262, and 473.

If you prefer to drive, you can take the A13 towards London and exit at Prince Regent Lane. From there, turn left onto New Plaistow Road and then right onto Barking Road. There is limited street parking available in the area, so it's best to arrive early or consider using a nearby car park.
