You heard him… Blythe is a family pub. ❤️
Throwing it back to Bank Holiday Sunday when the place was absolutely buzzing from start to finish. Packed tables, plenty of familiar faces, drinks flowing and the whole community out enjoying themselves together.
That’s what Blythe is all about. 🍻

Who says all the fun has to wait until the weekend? 🍻
Monday at Blythe Hill Tavern can still mean a perfectly poured Guinness, a cocktail in hand and a few hours catching up with friends.
The week has only just started, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it. Make Blythe Hill part of your week, not just your weekend. 🍺

What a day for a true Blythe hero. 💚⚽
Our charity football match in memory of Pat McDonough brought together friends, family and familiar faces from across the Blythe Hill community to celebrate someone who meant so much to so many.
Pat was more than a regular at the Blythe Hill Tavern. He was a character, a friend and a huge part of our community. His stories, laughter and unforgettable personality left a mark on everyone who knew him and this event was a fitting tribute to the man he was.
Together, we raised money for St Christopher’s Hospice, whose compassion and care meant so much to Pat and his loved ones during his final days. We are incredibly proud to support the important work they continue to do for other individuals and families.
Thank you to every player who stepped onto the pitch, everyone who helped organise the event and every person who came along to support, donate and remember Pat. The love shown throughout the day proved just how special this community is.
The football brought us together, but Pat was the reason we were all there.
A brilliant day for an unforgettable man. Forever a character, forever part of the Blythe and forever our hero. 💚

Here’s a Guinness fact you probably didn’t know…In a 2004 survey, the Guinness widget (the sphere in the cans) was actually voted a greater invention than the internet 🍺
We’ll leave you with that one while you enjoy your Thursday pint at Blythe Hill Tavern.

A piece of London history, still standing proudly today. 🍺
We were delighted to see Blythe Hill Tavern featured by News Shopper in an article celebrating what makes this historic pub so special, describing it as a London pub “frozen in time”.
In 2022, Blythe Hill Tavern was awarded Grade II listed status by Historic England, recognising the remarkable preservation of its unusual three-room layout, interwar murals and distinctive Tudor-style interior.
Generations have walked through these doors and so much of the character they would have known remains intact today. We are incredibly proud to be custodians of a proper piece of London pub history and even prouder to see that history recognised and celebrated. 🤎

There’s more to a proper Guinness than just pulling the tap. 🍺
From the glass to the pour, the settle and that final top up, it’s the little rituals that make all the difference.
Swipe through and see which ones you swear by.
