Farewell

It is with much sadness, that I announce the closing of Naturally Chinese Restaurant in Surbiton, Surrey.

I want to thank all of my wonderful guests and employees for supporting me over these past years. What started as a “different” Chinese restaurant, where no one had heard of the concept of gluten-free or organic Chinese food, became a destination restaurant!
And listed as the first and only CoeliacUK gluten-free certified restaurant in the country!
I feel extremely humbled that so many embraced our unique tastes and that we were able to succeed as long as we had. For a restaurant to survive and thrive in a sleepy town on the outskirts of London for 12 years is an accomplishment of which we can all be proud. And we could not have done it without all of you.

Guests might mourn the loss of their favourite restaurant for it provided them with so much more than just food. It was a safe place to recharge and nourish, as well as creating special memories.

I have enjoyed working here over the past decade, and I feel now is a good time for me to hang up my aprons and pursue other interests.
With much love and gratitude to you always.

We take pride in our heartwarming dishes that present a distinct dark, rich gravy to achieve perfect balance of flavour. For those who enjoy a hearty bit of pork, choose from cutlets in a honey peppercorn sauce, sweet and sour sauce or a sea salt and peppercorn cure. And it has been common practice....
