This month we are sharing our recipe for Pissaladière.
This very old recipe was recorded in a document in Provence dating back to 879 . It's a delicious and light Summer dish when served with a salad.
Our recipe uses a pastry base and topped with onions, anchovy fillets and black olives.

On Sunday, 15th March, Le Petit Citron invites you to slow down and celebrate La Fête des Mères with a leisurely lunch, savouring the unique flavours of Provence!
We’ve created a shortened À La Carte menu full of diner’s favourites.
Le Menu de la Fête des Mères includes our signature goats’ cheese soufflé starter as-well as our classic Confit de Canard & Sea Bass main courses and of course creme brûlée to finish.
And because Mum deserves a souvenir, every mother will depart with a hand-wrapped Provençal Citron Soap made especially for us in Marseille and in partnership with French Soaps

This month, we've added Coquilles Saint Jacques with toasted pine nuts and garlic butter to our recipe page.
We source our scallops from Dorset and grill them on a chargrill, giving a smoky contrast to the natural sweetness of the scallop.
