-REMINDER-
George’s funeral will take place on Thursday 24 June at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox, Town Road, Edmonton, followed by the burial at New Southgate Cemetery at approximately 1.45pm.
The hearse will go past the shop at around 11:15 to say his final goodbyes.
Unfortunately, due to current COVID restrictions there will be a limit of 100 people for the church service. However, for those who wish to attend and pay their respects, you will be very welcome and warmly received by his family at the cemetery where numbers will not be restricted.
There will be a box available for donations to The Royal Free Hospital Kidney Patients Association instead of flowers or Online at

Andreas who we all knew and loved as George passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday 4 June 2021, two days shy of his 87th birthday.
He was born in Anaphotia, Cyprus, on 6 June 1934.
Andreas leaves behind four daughters, Vasoulla, Vevi, Georgina and Julie; two sons-in-law, Andreas and Savva, seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
The funeral will take place on Thursday 24 June at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox, Town Road, Edmonton, followed by the burial at New Southgate Cemetery at approximately 1.45pm.

With great sorrow we announce the passing away of our beloved George, who passed away on Friday 4th June 2021. Many of you will already know that George was an incredible man who was very much loved and left a mark on the lives of everyone whom met him. George was a humble and hard working man and taught us everything we know, and supported us, all the staff at The Original Georges Fish Bar unconditionally- he was the grandfather everyone wished they had!May he rest in eternal peace. RIP George, you will never be forgotten.

To reach Savoy Parade in London where the seafood restaurant, fish & chips shop and fast food restaurant are located, you can take the public transport by getting off at the nearest bus stop or train station. The nearest bus stop is located right outside Savoy Parade and it is served by bus routes 313, 317, 327 and 491. For the nearest train station, you can get off at Enfield Town Station which is approximately a 5-minute walk from Savoy Parade.
If you're driving to Savoy Parade, there's a NCP car park nearby on Genotin Road which offers parking spaces for visitors. Alternatively, there is also free street parking available on some of the surrounding roads but be sure to check any parking restrictions before leaving your car.
