We are being asked already so we are announcing now:

Winter is extra hard for anyone struggling to make ends meet. For people who are ill, alone, or without housing, it’s brutal. And Christmas Day can be the hardest of all.

This year we are opening on CHRISTMAS DAY for anyone who is alone or hard-up this Christmas.

We will be dishing up an amazing full Christmas Dinner, pudding, the lot! There will be plenty to eat and drink, we’ll have Christmas crackers and plenty of love in the room!

Expect lots of lights and all the classic Christmas songs 🎄

If anyone would like to bring in unwanted toys so we can create a little Santa’s sack for the children, we would be very grateful. Please don’t give anything broken or tatty looking. Not to sound ungrateful, but we want to make the kids feel special.

There is a magic at The Sound Lounge that is hard to put into words. The love, care and sheer grit and determination that Hannah White & Keiron Marshall put into their venue is quite something to witness. Thanks so much for having us - Love you both ♥️

You can tell this venue has a good effect because even Corkers and Danny agreed to be in off-stage photos.

Huge thanks to Small Time Kid for opening the show with a brilliant set.

The bakes and cakes today look amazing. All freshly baked here by our amazing chefs who we love ♥️🙏

Our Strawberry & Almond muffin is not just vegan, it’s and topped with an organic edible flower, delivered to us by our wonderful supplier shrub.london- who work with small , including Sutton Community Farm, to get their produce out to restaurants!

We also have our cookies which are fresh from the oven with a gooey chocolate centre.

AND delicious Blueberry Monkey Bread, Red Velvet Muffins, Walnut & Cream Cheese Mixed Spice cake…and our pastries too.

It’s day today. Last week we sold out sooner than we thought we were going to. So this week we have made more! But we’re already getting booked up. So come early for yours

Very proud of our new brunch options. This one is mine served on bread. But the fully gluten, bloomer option looks to die for!

This is all home-cooked. Our live produce all comes from organic farms within the M25. So all local.

Proof that you can satisfying and unbelievably delicious food whilst being gentle on the planet 💚🌍 😋

We know the weather is pretty shocking….! ☔️

But the heating is on in here and the lighting is as warm glow as our staff (I know that is so cheesy 😆).

Our food is all home-cooked.
We order our produce from organic suppliers. Our food system is failing us and most restaurants (even the pricier ones) will dish you up chips that come frozen in a bag with more ingredients than potato, and pre-processed meals full of preservatives.

We are committed to hanging on in there with real people (no computers to take your orders) real food and real music 🎶

We are just about to start Shake ‘n’ Sing - our free music session for pre-schoolers & their carers. And we have some killer live music on tonight with Pete Gow and full band 🔥

Now that our , has moved to Wednesdays all day, we have new menu items from Thursdays onwards.

Including an extra brunch menu:
* Mushrooms on Toast
* Beans on Toast
* Scrambled ‘no-egg’ Tofu on Toast.

All perfectly seasoned and delicious. Plus, you can add vegan sausage, bacon and pea & edamame smash to your order too to bulk it up! 😋

We also have Jacket Potatoes AND a chilli and rice option as well as our Classic Cheese Burger.

All completely plant-based 💚😇

If you have children on half-term and are struggling this week, please know you are welcome to our community kitchen from midday on WEDNESDAY for a free (or pay-what-you-can-afford) meal. It’s always freshly cooked first thing by our brilliant chefs.

Just a reminder that The People’s Table has moved to Wednesdays from 12noon now.

We have made this change to line-up better with local services as well as our own winter opening hours. But fundamentally we hope to be able to reach more people who need it, especially now as food prices are set to rise again and the weather is going to get colder.

Please spread the word about our . It is a free or pay-what-you-can-afford nutritious meal made up each week for anyone at all, no questions asked.

Our talented chefs and a small army of the kindest volunteers on planet earth make this possible. We receive delicious, fresh donations from Sutton Community Farm and Mitcham’s Critical Support Services.

**we will be ensuring a hot meal is also available on a Thursday as well as Wednesday over the coming weeks whilst we get the word out.

are emerging fast!!! They‘ve spent the summer playing major festivals. They have some big backing and their sound is off the scale.

They had a spare date in their touring calendar and have agreed to a last minute show for us at The Sound Lounge.

Well, last night’s was glorious. With HUGE thanks to the passionate, caring and creative kitchen team who put so much heart and soul into the menu: Chefs Keiron, Adolph & Sylvie. Just WOW. We also had a lot of assistance from one of our regular volunteers, Jane. We couldn’t have done it (on-time!) without her ♥️

And thanks to all our guests for coming along. We hope you enjoyed the food and the atmosphere as much as we did.

The next Supper Club will be five courses of Indian-themed food from the different regions of India 🇮🇳 we can’t wait!
