Had a fantastic meal on Saturday night thanks to who is opening a new restaurant on Drury Lane - .restaurant. Alchemy are supplying the coffee and I was happy to accept an invitation to the Friends and Family preview. Decor is amazing, service was en pointe and the food was fantastic. A Dill oil infused martini to start with fried sage leaves in honey and chilli, so**ed mackerel and cured mangalitsa shoulder as snacks followed by starters of scallops, clams and asparagus. Mains of artichoke and a cod and clam curry. Matcha ice cream to finish. I was very tempted by the steaks but really enjoyed the seafood side of things. Absolutely brilliant night.

Part 2 - for a LOT of coffee. Double espresso and about 3 flat whites. Really attentive and talented baristas - sat at the bar and chatted with them over the coffees.

Day 3 in Melbourne has to be split into two parts as I took too many photos. Part one for a spot of brunch and a cheeky filter plus espresso.
