This month, we had the pleasure of partnering with Dulwich Festival to bring a truly special series of events to Oru, and what a couple of weeks it’s been!
Sober Social, Rhythm & Release with .cashman , Kitchen Confessional: A storytelling Supper club & Rhythms of the Disapora: Yoga & Tamil Instrumentals with , &
From a Sober Social that proved connection can truly flourish without the need for alcohol, to a Kitchen Confessional where stories were shared over shared plates, to Rhythm and Release, exploring the true medicine of movement. Each event felt like a reminder of why we do what we do. We rounded things off with an embodied yoga practice set to live Tamil instrumentals; a genuinely rare and beautiful experience bringing together music and movement 🪄
Each room was full, and the energy in the room showed exactly why. To everyone who came along, thank you for showing up and making each moment what it was. And to Dulwich Festival, thank you for trusting us as a partner and for helping us bring such a rich, diverse programme to the heart of the community 🌿

Planted today: aubergine, sweetcorn, and peppers. And coming soon, fennel, rhubarb, and more beans and tomatoes are on the way 💨
We’re documenting every stage of the journey, from the very first seeds, and we can’t wait to share more. Watch this space! 🌿

Zone 2. Our most central location yet.
We started in Dulwich. We grew into Sutton. And now we’re heading into the heart of the city. Oru’s newest home sits in Zone 2, closer to more people, more communities, and a new community we can connect to...
It’s a milestone we’re incredibly proud of, and we can’t wait to share it with you on Saturday!

Everything we do at Oru, from coworking to wellness to Trinco to events, is built around one simple thing: connection.
Events are the fullest expression of that.
We’ve hosted 115 events across our two sites this year, and some of the moments we’ve witnessed have stayed with us. A surprise birthday that spilled from Trinco into the lounge with a live band and a DJ. An intimate series of music performances in the Town Hall. A Lunar New Year celebration that saw over 3,000 people move through our Sutton site in a single day.
With 14 spaces across Sutton and East Dulwich, rooftops, boardrooms, an auditorium, and everything in between, we’ll find the right room for whatever shape your gathering takes.
Come as you are. Bring your people. Make it yours. Find out more about private hire at the link in bio!
