✨ 1st January 2025 - OPEN MIC NIGHT ✨
Since kicking off our open mic night on May 1st, it has blossomed into a spectacular evening filled with incredible music over the past seven months!
We’ve been fortunate to witness outstanding performances spanning various genres—from folk to hip hop, classical to jazz, beatboxing to opera.
What started as a humble idea has grown into a beacon of creativity and one of our most beloved nights every week. Watching friendships form and seeing our community unite in such a supportive environment fills me with immense pride.
A special shoutout to the incredibly talented high priestess of folk, Morgan, whose dedication every Wednesday since May has been the backbone of this success. Thank you, Morgan!
We also owe a big thank you to our sponsors. have kept us refreshed with free beers for all performers, and have generously provided a house guitar for all to enjoy.
Here’s to another year of amazing live music! We can’t wait to see you on the 1st! 🤘

A lovely little Christmas what’s on post
This one is gonna take us through to the new years, so unfortunately you will all have to wait until 2025 to be graced with my graphic design skills again ( I know it’s your favourite time of the week don’t try and lie)
Christmas Day we will be a shorter opening time, only 12pm - 3pm. Our little burger elves have been given the day off (damn elf unions) so we will not have a kitchen that day either. Just our lovey faces and lovely pints for 3 hours!
Boxing Day all the way to the 30th will be business as usual. Betwixmass will be pumping as per, and we’ll have some weekday deals ready for you as well. Kitchen will be open for all
This will run up to our New Year’s Eve extravaganza. The govnur has scoured the land for the finest musicians who will converge like the avengers into Sgt Potters Ladywell house band. They will be playing live music all night, providing a funky soundtrack to help us cruise into 2025. Expect covers and lovers.
“But Ladywell instagram person” I hear you ask “how much will the tickets be for all this sweet entertainment? The local pub (INSERT YOUR LOCAL VENUE HERE) are charging £20 per person to get in, are you not gonna be doing the same??”
Oh dear sweet innocent random instagram user, we would never charge you for coming into our pub, we love you, and we particularly love (INSERT NICE TRAIT ABOUT YOURSELF HERE) . That’s why our New Year’s Eve party is going to be abosloutely free. Just roll up and rock out. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it (LOCAL VENUE YOU MENTIONED EARLIER)

Another week, another what’s on post
As always our amazing open mic is running on Wednesday. Every week we have new amazing musicians come and play for the first time ever and every week they come back, so we must be doing something right! Come see the best open mic in SE London in action for yourself. Warm, welcoming and very beginner friendly, plus a free drink for all performers. What more could you need!
Thursday night is quiz night and it’s going to be a massive one. Our rollover jackpot is now over £400 , and this can only go up by this Thursday! Come have a go, and even if you don’t win the jackpot there’s still the £50 bar tab up for grabs for all your geniuses out there. I would book a table in advance for this one, it’s starting to fill up fast!
Last but not least we have Roasts and records. Come have yourself some banging pork belly while relaxing to some tunes spun by our amazing staff. What could be better to end your week on?
