PRE-CARNIVAL PARTY 2026 — THIS SATURDAY!!
Just a little update because lots of you have been DMing me about reserving tables!
There are NO TICKETS to buy this year and it’s NOT a buffet. Just come along, order your food and enjoy!
SIT-DOWN FOOD: 6PM–8PM
I’ve still got a few tables available for 2, 4 or 6 people, so if you’d like one, DM me to reserve it.
PLEASE BE ON TIME!
We’ll hold reserved tables for 30 minutes after your booking time. After that, if you haven’t arrived, we’ll have to give the table to somebody waiting.
Then from around 8–8.30pm, the tables start coming OUT… and the party starts!!
DJ, music, our Carnival dancers, dancing and all the pre-carnival vibes ready for Carnival 2026!

Just a little heads-up — September is filling up VERY fast for our outside catering!
If you popped into the café before we went away and spoke to us about catering for a September date, but haven’t yet paid your deposit, please contact us within the next couple of days. We can’t hold dates without a deposit and we really don’t want anyone to miss out.

THE DRAMAS OF THE A-BOARD!!!
Well guys, we’re back after our summer break and already there’s drama!!!
We’ve received a letter from Ealing Council telling us it will now cost £175 PER YEAR to have our A-board outside advertising our specials.
Our answer is simple — NO THANK YOU!
Small independent businesses are already being crippled by rising costs. We pay business rates, licences, utilities and countless other expenses. We are NOT paying another £175 a year just to put an A-board outside!!!
So the A-board is officially going!!!
Instead, we’re going back to our old system. Give us until the end of the week and our SHOP WINDOW will display everything you need to know — weekly specials, Friday Caribbean boxes, Sunday roasts, our returning Friday Afternoon Club, evening events, Halloween Afternoon Teas, Christmas orders and anything else we have coming up.
