Travellers Friend used to be a popular pub located on High Road that offered a friendly atmosphere and warm welcome to its customers. The pub had occasional events and promotions such as St. George’s Day, Mother’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with discounts on selected drinks. In January 2012, they also announced a unique prize for rugby fans to win a training session with the ENGLAND RUGBY TEAM by pre-booking tables during Six Nations games for their teams. However, the website has not been updated since 2012, and it is unknown whether Travellers Friend is still in business or not.
