You seemed to have accidentally dropped 2 items of the pubs property into your bag before you left.

This has sentimental value and would appreciate it returned today (Friday)

If you need a reminder of what fell into your bag, we have it camera and will be happy to share it.

Unfortunately we will be giving this one a miss. Our hard working team deserve some sleep, and our long suffering neighbours deserve a full nights sleep without the carnage of football at 4am on a Monday day.

Walk into a chain pub, or a managed pub co. We all know the ones.

The walls are covered in carefully chosen “heritage” prints. Every chair matches. Every pub looks the same, whether you’re in London, Leeds or Liverpool.

Now walk into a family-run local.

The old football team photo. The charity tin on the bar. The worn dartboard. The dent in the bar where the same regular has rested his elbow for 30 years.

None of that was bought.

All of it was lived.

People often compare pubs by the price of a pint. But you’re not just buying a drink.

In a local pub, you’re supporting local jobs, local suppliers, local charities, live music, sports teams, and a business that’s part of your community—not a national chain.

Chains can buy cheaper beer.

They can buy marketing.

They can even buy the look of history.

But they can never buy history itself.

That’s why your local matters.

Reminder: we are a pub, we are NOT a lighting hire shop. Can the customers that “borrowed” our lamp on sat 18th April return it to us.

We are a family run business and all expenses affect us. !!

Any info leading to the name of the offenders and return of our lamps will be rewarded greatly.

Lamp gate update:

We are really disappointed to have not had our “borrowed” lamp returned to us, we now have to add the extra expense of replacing said lamp.

So as promised, here is the footage of the gentleman with sticky fingers.

Polite message on this glorious Mother’s Day.

Can the 3 gentleman guests that visited us last night kindly return the table lamp you stole from us, we’d be very grateful.
And no more will be said, as I’m sure it was just a lapse of judgment.

HOW EVER-If we do not have the lamp returned by Tuesday, we will share the video evidence all over social, and you will be barred for life.

We are not a chain/ corporate pub, this is a family business and costs hit us hard. Having to replace the things people steal is an unnecessary expense we could do without,thankyou.
