Transfer window closed. Bank accounts considerably lighter. Back to the actual football.

Liverpool get the weekend started at Ipswich on Friday night, with their shiny new £123m signing Bradley Barcola among the latest names added to a very different-looking Reds squad.

Saturday brings Newcastle v Bournemouth and Hull v Villa, before Sunday serves up Everton v Man United and a rather tasty Arsenal v Chelsea to finish.

Five games, three days and plenty of new signings to pass judgement on far too early.

Friday night football at Selhurst. That’ll do nicely. 🦅

Palace welcome Man City to South London to get the weekend started, before Saturday brings Liverpool v Forest and Spurs v Newcastle.

Then there’s a full Sunday to settle in for. Brighton head to Chelsea after sticking four past Villa last weekend, Leeds take on Brentford and Man United finish things off against Ipswich.

Six games across three days. You could spend the weekend doing something productive, of course. Or you could come to the pub.

We know which we’d choose.

To get to the pub in Gipsy Hill, London using public transport, take the train to Gipsy Hill Station and walk for about 10 minutes on Gipsy Hill Road until you reach the venue. You can also take buses 3, 322 or 432 and alight at Gipsy Hill bus stop.

If you choose to drive to the pub, from A2199 head southeast on High St/A2199 towards Queen's Rd/B2221. Turn left onto Queen's Rd/B2221 and continue straight onto Harold Rd. Turn right onto Paxton Place and then turn right onto Gipsy Hill Road. The pub should be on your left hand side. There are some parking spaces on Gipsy Hill Road but it is advisable to check for any parking restrictions before leaving your car unattended.
