The BRIGHT Store The BRIGHT Store is a unique coffee shop and ethical lifestyle store located on Hackney Road. It offers customers a delightful selection of high-quality coffee and an array of giant vegan pastries and treats. In addition to its café offerings, The BRIGHT Store features a variety of ethically-made products sourced from independent brands and artisans. It also serves as the home for BRIGHT Zine, an ethical lifestyle magazine.

After six years of magazines, events, food pics, coffees and Vegan Queen everything, it’s time for us to close this chapter.

It will come as no surprise that the last 2-3 years have been incredibly hard for most of us, and especially hard for small businesses like ours. 

We have tried everything we could think of for the past two years, and we had big aspirations for the future, but there is only so far that grit and determination can take you. 

In what can only be described as an economic and environmental crisis, many of the things that used to sustain the business no longer can, and we have not been able to find a way to move forward and keep afloat.

We had planned to stay open for a couple more weeks to say goodbye properly, but sadly we are out of time and will not be able to reopen The BRIGHT Store. 

What started as an idea for a small DIY zine turned into a quality print magazine, a brand, a coffee shop and an ethical lifestyle store, and the journey has had many amazing moments. We’ve met incredible people, made lifelong friends, and achieved things we could never have imagined. 

What’s next for us? The team will all continue on as vegan queens, discovering whatever the world has in store for us after BRIGHT. We will move and archive our online articles so that our work can live on, and if we have any updates, we will put them on the Instagram, which we will keep live. 

We are so grateful to every single one of you who has joined us on this journey. If you’ve read a magazine, worn a Vegan Queen t-shirt, bought something online, come to an event, worked with us, written an article for BRIGHT, collaborated with us on a project, shared your opinions and experiences with us, or come to our shop for a coffee and a croissant, it has meant the world to us.

To reach your destination on Hackney Road in London, you have a couple of options for public transport and driving.

**Public Transport:**
1. **By Tube:**
- Take the London Underground to Liverpool Street Station (Central, Circle, Hammersmith & City, or Metropolitan lines).
- From Liverpool Street, transfer to the Overground and take a train towards either Chingford or Enfield Town.
- Get off at Hoxton Station. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Hackney Road.

2. **By Bus:**
- Several bus routes serve Hackney Road. You can catch buses 26, 48, or 55 from various locations in central London.
- Check local bus stops for the nearest route and get off at one of the stops along Hackney Road.

**Driving/Parking:**
