Seeing students like Milo thrive is what it’s all about 👏 This year, the Costa Foundation (our global charity partner) has partnered with Five Acre Wood School on their ‘Made FAW You’ project, funding the transformation of an existing teaching kitchen into a commercial-standard training space.

Now, pupils can gain hands-on experience cooking, producing and selling food in a supportive environment. This will help students build confidence, develop new skills and discover what a future in hospitality could look like. We love to see it!

This year, our global charity partner the Costa Foundation has partnered up with Treloar's School and College to support ‘Planting Possibilities’, a horticulture-based project for disabled and young people.

Through hands-on work growing and caring for plants, students develop practical enterprise skills, confidence and independence. The project creates opportunities for learning outside of the classroom, helping young people prepare for life beyond education ❤️

This year, the Costa Foundation is extending its work to the UK for the first time to support children and young people who may face barriers to opportunities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Our work with the students and teachers at Treloar's School & College in Hampshire and Five Acre Wood School in Kent has been fundamental in helping to make a meaningful difference here at home, ensuring more young people have access to the support, skills and opportunities they need to thrive.

To get to Palace Gardens in Enfield, you can take the train to Enfield Town Station or Southbury Station, both of which are within walking distance of the area. Alternatively, you can take the bus to Enfield Town, Enfield Chase or Southbury Road and walk from there.

If driving, head towards the A1010 (Southbury Road) and turn onto Cecil Road. From there, continue onto Central Avenue and then turn right onto Palace Gardens. Parking is available on nearby streets or at car parks such as the Palace Gardens Shopping Centre car park.

Once you have reached your destination at Palace Gardens in Enfield, a coffee shop will be easily located for refreshment.
