Great to see Micropub Adventures heading to the Bermondsey Beer Mile this Saturday 🍻
Always nice when people come down to explore what this part of London has to offer.
Looking forward to having you at Arch 86 — should be a good Saturday on the Mile.
Morning
On Saturday I’ll be heading over to London for the Bermondsey Beer Mile, one of the country’s best-known beer trails. Centred around the railway arches of Bermondsey, the trail grew from a handful of pioneering craft breweries and has become a must-visit destination for beer lovers, with taprooms, breweries and beer-focused venues stretching across the area.
I’ll be making my way along the Beer Mile, calling in at a variety of breweries, taprooms and pubs throughout the day to see what the area has to offer.
If I’m planning to pop in and visit you, I’d really appreciate a share of this post — and if you see me out and about, feel free to come and say hello!

🖤 TODAY WE CELEBRATE BA STOUT 🖤
Five years of CBJ means five years of chasing the big stuff.
The thick, dark, barrel-aged, ridiculous beers that made us fall in love with American craft in the first place.
And when we talk about BA stouts at CBJ, Hidden Springs Ale Works has been part of the story from the beginning.
We opened our doors with their beers.
We poured them.
We shared them.
And somewhere along the way, we got properly hooked.
So today, as part of our 5th anniversary celebrations, we’re bringing out some special Hidden Springs treats.
On draft with rating of 4.43 on Untappd:
Double Barrel Black Aggie Fluffernutter 2026
We’ll also be cracking a magnum of one of their famous beers, plus we’ve got a handful of super-limited Black Canvas cans available.
Big beers. Big memories.
5 years of CBJ.

🍯 THE MEAD IS BACK. ONE. LAST. TIME. 🍯
Mead has always existed… but modern American craft mead?
That’s a different beast entirely.
For the last 5 years, CBJ has been one of the places pioneering and pushing modern US craft mead in the UK — introducing people on the Bermondsey Beer Mile and far beyond to the wild creations coming out of Florida from our friends at Garagiste Meadery.
Big fruit. Huge barrels. Crazy ingredients. Nothing traditional about it.
Sadly, Garagiste founder retired around 18 months ago and officially closed the business at the end of last year.
Which means this is the FINAL Garagiste drop we will ever have at Arch 86.
Once these bottles are gone… that’s it.
And it lands just as our 5th anniversary celebrations kick off TODAY from 4PM 🍻
Fresh US shipment. Special pours. Good people. Big weekend energy.
If you’ve never tried modern craft mead before… this is your chance.
If you already know… you already know 👀
Arch 86. Bermondsey Beer Mile.
Still the most interesting stop on the Mile.

5 years ago, CBJ started with a love for great beer and a simple belief that the best experiences are shared 🍻
Thousands of beers poured. Friendships made. Endless “have you tried this?” moments. Discovering new favourites. Sharing bottles. Chasing fresh drops. Geeking out over styles, breweries, and beers from around the world.
Through all the ups and downs, one thing’s never changed — the incredible community around CBJ
So now it’s time to celebrate 🥳
