We’re open!

Pop in at 8am-6pm Monday to Friday this week as we ride the holiday wave 🌊

We’ve got all the good stuff… art, coffee, savoury and sweet snacks and maybe even some sunshiiiiine ☀️

Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice some new hedging and fencing at the cafe ✨💚✨

This will create a more enclosed space away from the car park but also protect the trees which are to small for climbing 🌱

Please respect the outside space so that everyone can enjoy it and supervise children 🙏

💚 Climbing on the willow fencing, buggy park or in trees is not permitted
💚 Use chairs - no sitting on or climbing on tables
💚 Pop rubbish in the bin

It’s all change in the community art gallery this month as we welcome local photographer, Ray Betts.

A series of black and white images, Ray’s photographs transport spectators to places of beauty and wonder, offering a moment of sanctuary from the day to day.

The interplay of light and shadow creates beautiful and spectacular contrasts, as well as a depth that affords audiences an opportunity to get lost in the scene, with so much to explore and discover 🌼🌼🌼

They’re really beautiful, pop by after 4pm on weekdays, at 8am-6pm Saturdays and 8am-5pm Sundays to check them out 👀

The former copper beech tree, sadly felled last year due to an incurable disease, is at the centrepiece of Mark Flawn-Thomas’ exhibition this month at CBC.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces celebrating Mark’s work at his PV last Wednesday 🤗

Pop down after 4pm on weekdays and from 8am at weekends to see these pieces. Prints of the tree are available!

If you are using public transport, the nearest tube station is West Finchley on the Northern Line. From there, you can take bus 125 towards Winchmore Hill and get off at Jax Sports Club. The café is a short walk from there.

If you are driving, head towards the A406 North Circular Road and then take the exit for A1000 towards North Finchley. Turn left onto Woodside Park Road and continue until you reach Jags Sports Club. There is free parking available on-site.
