We finally have the OK to sell off our assets before the property is handed back to the landlord…
We have a huge range of stuff from commercial fridges & freezers, dishwasher, a La Marzocco Linea PB coffee machine, waffle maker, through to plates, glasses, cups, cutlery, tables, chairs, high chairs, a Henry Hoover, salt & pepper mills & so much more. We also have some beer, wine and soft drink stock.
Initially we plan to sell stuff in bulk as far as possible, but if we don’t shift everything by end of next week we hope to holding an open house sale next weekend.
We want to raise as much cash as we can to help increase the pot for our unsecured creditors.

It’s Farewell from Hood.
We are deeply saddened to have to announce that, due to the many financial pressures we have all faced this year, Hood will be closing its doors for the final time this Sunday, 2nd October.
This is not a decision that we anticipated having to make so quickly and it's certainly not one we have taken lightly. We've done everything we can to keep this incredible restaurant going but these are extraordinary and difficult times and sadly the time has come for us to say farewell, thank you and move on.
It's been an amazing eight years - exciting, fun, challenging and, yes, occasionally scary. We've enjoyed working with an amazing team of talented staff who have contributed so much to the success of the restaurant and we've made so many good friends amongst our regular diners. It has truly been an honour to welcome you all, to have been part of your lives and your celebrations and to have taken a place at the heart of the Streatham community
Before we go, we will be holding a flash sale of our remaining stock of wine, beer and maybe more! You can find a link to our drinks menu here and all remaining stock will be available at retail prices (typically 20-30% off the list price). You can purchase items in the restaurant for the rest of this week and we will be staying open on Sunday after the end of service for anyone who would like to call in to wish us well and maybe purchase a bottle or two of their favourites!

There's still time to book for this weekend!
We will be running lunch, brunch and dinner as usual until Sunday and there's still space left if you'd like to book a farewell brunch or dinner with us. Book early as tables are likely to sell out quickly. We would love to see as many of you as possible.

Grown in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, this family run business produces outstanding speciality tomatoes year after year.

New beer alert! 🚨
A fabulous foursome from one of our favourite local breweries, . The Hunter Helles Lager and Hepcat Session IPA make a welcome return, alongside two new specials, Investor, a soft and super-fruity New England IPA and Tafa Tafa, a Mai Tai Sour made with whole oranges, Pineapple and a kick of Himalayan pink salt!
Gipsy Hill’s core range beers now come in 440ml cans, which reduces their packaging and carbon footprint, whilst giving you more beer!
Drop by this weekend for dinner, brunch or just a drink and enjoy these great new beers.

Since we are a winner of the UK’s best independent craft beer restaurant.. ahem…we thought it was time we shared a few new beers we have in stock. All of them are perfect for this balmy weather!
1. Rhize alcoholic ginger beer from Gipsy Hill Brewery. Brewed with ridiculous amounts of ginger, the perfect spicy refresher on a hot, hot day.
2. iStout Affogato from 8 Wired. Stout? In the summertime? Why ever not? Brimming with coffee and chocolate malt flavours with lactose and vanilla in the brew. A luxurious dessert beer for those long sultry evenings.
3. Lightbulb Extra Pale Ale from Verdant Brewery, Cornwall. Breezy, easy and as pale as pale, this is a beautifully quenching ale.
