Summer with little ones is never simple, and running a play café through it is no different. Thank you for your patience while we adapted with mornings opening, from Thursday 3rd of September we’re back to our usual sessions and it feels good to be home.

Thank you for your patience while we found our feet with mornings opening. From Thursday 3rd of September, we’re back to our usual sessions, Mon-Friday 9.00am-10.30am, 11.00am-12.30pm, 1.00pm-2.30pm, 3.00pm-4.30pm and Sat 9.00am-10.30am, 11.00am-12.30pm

There’s something lovely about watching a child discover mess for the first time, that pure, unfiltered joy. Messy Play Club starts next week with Emily, a former primary school teacher who understands exactly why that joy matters. Tuesdays in Peckham Rye, Thursdays in Herne Hill.

Some of our favourite days here are the ones with balloons, cake, and a room full of laughter. We’ve been booking autumn parties and we can’t wait to celebrate with your family. Dates are filling, so if it’s on your mind, come and talk to us.

For every parent who’s ever felt like the only one awake at 3am, First Year Club exists so you don’t have to feel that way alone. Our next one will be announced soon.

From September, single play sessions are £8.50, a small change that helps us keep delivering the experience you love. If you’re after even better value, our membership and multiple booking options are designed to make visiting often feel easy on the budget too. We hope they help.

For £45 a month, one child gets unlimited play at both Herne Hill and Peckham Rye. Have two little ones? It’s £55 a month for unlimited play for both.

It’s there for the rainy afternoons, the post-nursery energy, the mornings when you need to get out of the house and the weekends when everyone needs a change of scene. Plus, members get 10% off food and drinks and birthday party bookings.

Book a full 2-hour exclusive hire of the whole café, either at Herne Hill or Peckham Rye. No shared sessions, just your family and friends celebrating in the space. Go fully catered and let us handle the food, or bring your own if that works better for you. Either way, our team takes care of setup and running the room so you can actually enjoy the day instead of managing it.

Available Saturdays and Sundays at both venues. Book any Autumn date and get a free adult platter on us.
