Introducing the driving force behind , our brilliant General Manager, Brian Martin.
With over 25 years experience across restaurants, banqueting, events and unique venues, Brian brings a wealth of expertise, knowledge and meticulous attention to detail to his role overseeing at the Barbican Centre with .
Passionate about delivering exceptional standards, Brian is known for developing strong, motivated teams and creating an atmosphere where guests can truly relax and enjoy the experience.
You’ll often spot him in the restaurant or around the Barbican, so do say hello when you see him.

New from our summer menu and one of the most popular dishes at the ‘team tasting’ introducing our delicious Tagliolini with squid, mussels, prawns, garlic butter, cherry tomatoes and parsley - and it lends itself particularly well to al fresco dining with a glass of chilled rosé on our terrace

At the recent ‘Annual People Awards 2026’ hosted brilliantly by Savoy Place we enjoyed drinks on the Johnson Roof Terrace overlooking The Thames before heading into the Riverside Room for the awards ceremony.
Our evening was made by the announcement that our brilliant Executive Head Chef (of Barbican Events by Searcy’s ) Peter Pettigrew won ‘Chef of the Year’. 🙌
This award is fantastic recognition of Peter who has headed up the events in the kitchen since 2018 and consistently brings excellence, innovation, menu creativity and passion to each and every event he oversees - congratulations Peter! 🙌

Jonet has been running the show since 2021 with his exceptional eye for detail and passion for hospitality. When he's not managing, he's welcoming guests and ensuring our restaurant and terrace of 120 covers run like clockwork - no mean feat! He's super talented, fantastic fun and always here to welcome our customers with a smile!
