W’re very excited to bring a piece of Marseille to London this week!
This Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th, we’re welcoming solstice.marseille for two special days of soulful sounds, vibrant plates, and good vibes.
0riane de Mtl will be taking care of the playlists and setting the mood, while Sarah Tan joins our beloved Ariel McQueen in the kitchen to create a delicious menu together. Expect bold flavours, a little heat, and plenty of love. It’s going to get spicy!
Solstice, it’s an intimate hi-fi restaurant in Marseille where food and music come together. Think warm ’70s-inspired interiors, funk, disco, Brazilian jazz, soulful house, and crafted cocktails.
Before opening Solstice with Oriane, Sara cooked in some of Marseille’s much-loved kitchens, including Tuba, Poissonnerie Kennedy, La Ola, and Les Réformés. Her cooking is a reflection of her family story and dual French-Cambodian heritage, shaped by tradition, generosity, and curiosity.

WELCOME ARIEL! FROM SEPTEMBER 29th, UNTIL NOVEMBER 1st.
Ariel McQueen is a chef, culinary designer, and curator of gastronomic experiences.
His cooking is shaped by three Mexican regions, Mexico City, Veracruz, and the Yucatán Peninsula. Trained in French technique and drawn to a Mediterranean sensibility, he builds a contemporary culinary mestizaje, a Mexican point of view entering into conversation with each place he cooks in.
For over twelve years his practice has moved through stages, pop-ups, and residencies across Europe and Latin America. Alongside this, he collaborates with visual artists on projects where menu and artwork are built together from the start.
This October, Ariel brings that practice to London for a month-long residency.
The timing sets the tone: an autumn menu built around the season’s own turn, game and root vegetables, the last stone fruit giving way to squash and chestnut, dishes meant to be eaten as the light shortens and the city settles into its darker months.

HEORO - SEPTEMBER 25TH, 26TH & 27TH!
We’re very excited to welcome Rob from Impala & Baptiste from Brat into our kitchen for their new project, Heoro!
They’ll be cooking Friday dinner, followed by Saturday & Sunday lunch and dinner.
Heoro [he͜o.ru], is about exploring hospitality through classic British and French cuisine. What began as a personal research project has become a foundation on which Rob and Bap have established the food, drink and shared hospitality that they wish to create and share. Underpinned by their research into British and French culinary history, Rob and Bap have created a menu that explores dishes from across the social and cultural spectrum of the countries where they grew up. Staples of medieval peasant diets such as Potage with Curds to grand and playful subtleties of the royal court. Firmly rooted in nostalgia of the village fete delights, the warmth of home cooking and a true nose to tail ethos. Their menu highlights British ingredients and French techniques that feel both comforting and new.
Bookings are now live via OpenTable, walk ins are always welcomed!

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Posie in our kitchen from next Tuesday… she will be cooking with us for one week only, so you better reserve your table! Tuesday to Saturday, bookings are now live via OpenTable!
Posie Hall is a London-based chef and writer, cooking food that is seasonal, generous and rooted in good produce. Her work spans intimate and large-scale dinners, residencies and creative collaborations, with a love of simple, comforting food inspired by travel, simple ingredients and provenance. Posie has hosted residencies in London, Sicily and Fishers Island, New York, bringing together her love of food, place and gathering people around a table. Her cooking is guided by the seasons and by whatever is looking particularly good at the market - unfussy, abundant and made to be shared. What people say
Farewell Cafe & Kitchen, located on Green Lanes in London, is a neighbourhood coffee shop and restaurant that offers killer seasonal food by day and workshops by night. The cafe is open seven days a week, making it the perfect spot to grab a delicious cup of coffee any day of the week.
One of the highlights of Farewell Cafe & Kitchen is their signature espresso cocktail, which is made with their favourite ingredients. They recently served this cocktail at True Artisan Cafe from 2:30pm-7:30pm, and it was a hit among customers.
Although Farewell Cafe & Kitchen recently announced that they will be closing their doors at the end of the month due to not being able to extend their contract, they are still serving up delicious coffees, breakfasts, and lunches until then. The owners, Edy and Leo, have expressed their gratitude for the incredible support they have received from guests, friends, and neighbours over the past two years.
Despite this setback, Edy and Leo are actively looking for a new shop and have something cooking for their next project. It's clear that Farewell Cafe & Kitchen has left a lasting impression on its customers with its great food and warm atmosphere. If you haven't had a chance to visit yet, make sure to stop by before they close their doors!
