I still can't believe I'm saying this.
Three years have passed since you left us… and somehow, I still don't understand how we have managed to get here without you.
I miss you in a way that words will never be able to explain.
You weren't just my son.
You were my best friend.
The person I loved having beside me more than anyone.
I miss your smile.
Your kindness.
Your laughter.
I miss simply having you around.
You were only ten years old, but you taught us so much about how to live… how to be kind, how to love, how to enjoy the little things.
You truly were an angel on Earth.
And although life has been so unfair, we have to keep going.
We have to learn how to survive in this world without you… for ourselves, for your brother, and for you.
Because I know that's what you would want.
So we will keep living.
We will keep loving.
We will keep spreading kindness and joy.
