Jazz on a Rainy Day 🎷
The weather might not have played ball, but it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits.
Our end-of-summer Jazz on a Summer’s Day soirée became Jazz on a Rainy Day with & friends.
A huge thank you to everyone who came down and showed their support. Special thanks to Rachel, Ken on keys, and our special guests from Amsterdam. 🎹🎷
Not sure when the next one will be. I’ve been planning something a little special at a different venue, somewhere more suited to live performances, but that may have to wait until summer 2027.
For now, thanks for a great summer.
Watch this space ✌🏻

Dolly Parton 🖤
What an amazing woman.
Dolly famously joked, “It takes a lot of money to look this cheap.” That wonderful sense of humour was part of what made her so special.
But behind the rhinestones was an extraordinary songwriter, performer, businesswoman and philanthropist. Her music crossed boundaries, generations, races and religions. Very few people manage to become universally loved quite like Dolly did. (Reuters)
From Jolene and 9 to 5 to I Will Always Love You, those songs will carry on long after today.
80 years old. What a life. What a woman. What an icon.
Rest in peace, Dolly 🌺🙏🏻🌺
