Long live London. Long live nightlife. 🎶
This one was special.
The “Long Live London” piece was the brainchild of for , off the back of everything going on with at the time. Proper moment for the city.
I remember Sam putting a shout out for someone with a London accent… next thing I know, people are tagging me. With Ministry just round the corner, I guess I was the obvious choice.
I’d never done anything like it before, but the message resonated. Went into the studio, gave it a go… and thankfully didn’t mug myself off.
Big thanks to the MOS crew for trusting me to help tell that story. There was a whole team behind it — and many more.
Over the years I’ve made lifelong friends through Ministry. The team even sent flowers for my old man’s funeral, and sponsored Terry’s FC full English football shirts in the last tournament. That kind of loyalty stays with you.
I could go on forever…
More stories from the café and beyond when the book lands later this year.
Funny to think — not that long ago I’d have been on a two-day Easter Bank Holiday bender myself. Hope some of you are out there living it properly as we speak.
Peace & Doves 🕊️

The Long Good Friday… 2020 🎬
Bit of a throwback.
This was my first proper foray into social media — dubbing over The Long Good Friday with Bob Hoskins (with a bit of help from Matt) to push out our “ration packs” during lockdown.
Sausage. Egg. Bacon. Bloomer bread.
Simple, but it kept things ticking over when the world felt like it had hit pause.
At the time, it felt genius… looking back, maybe a bit corny 😅
But it takes you right back to a moment when none of us had a clue what was coming next , who could imagine Covid would be a distant memory when the world stood still ?
Thanks for reminding me ✌🏻
