Congratulations to the Izzards! As I set this up their harpist was playing...I felt absolutely serene on what was actually a very hot day! If you're getting married in a heatwave, I'll make sure your cake copes with the heat. Years of practice means I've got a few tricks up my sleeve and the cake (and I) will stay cool 😎

Cake toppers! If you've got one, leave it at the venue for me and I'll put it on the cake. Some of them are great, and some of them are least great (I'm looking at you, bride-dragging-groom-to-his-miserable-fate). This one is one of my all time favourites. Made by Iris, one of the family's children, I just think this octopus is just joyful for a family focused wedding.

Syon Park is my favourite wedding venue by a country mile. I was delighted to see it featuring in the film "We Live in Time" recently! Cakes just look spectacular in the conservatory (EVERYTHING looks spectacular in there....including you😆) but here's a cake in the courtyard of the main house on one of the few sunny days last year...which, remarkably, was in October!

Love this one for L and C at Hampton Court House at the end of last year. It gives me frosty morning feels! This is dairy free, so that bride L could eat every tier (which were Spiced Apple, Chocolate Orange and Strawberry and Champage). If you've got special dietary needs give me a shout, you may well be able to have your cake and eat it!
