The finishing touches are going in across the pub, our revamped upstairs space is taking shape and there are plenty of beautiful details we can’t wait for you to see ❤️

There’s history in every corner of The Albert ❤️
Once a Victorian gin palace, the pub still holds so many of the original details that make it such a special part of Victoria Street.
From etched glass windows and ornate iron balconies to the famous exterior lantern, these features have stood proudly while London has grown and changed around them.
A fresh new look is on the way, but The Albert’s unmistakable character is here to stay ✨

Things are really starting to take shape... 👀
After a busy few weeks behind the scenes, the transformation of The Albert is coming together.
Across all floors, we’re giving this incredible pub a fresh new look while celebrating the Victorian details and character that have made it a landmark on Victoria Street for generations ❤️

As part of The Albert’s transformation, our upstairs space is getting a major new look of its own.
With its own bar and space for up to 100 guests, it’s being transformed into a beautiful extension of the pub - perfect for celebrations, get-togethers, private occasions and more 🥂

Did you know The Albert has its very own connection to Parliament? 🔔
Inside the pub you’ll find a House of Commons Division Bell, once part of the system used to alert MPs when it was time to return to Parliament to vote.
And that’s not the only nod to our Westminster neighbours - The Albert is also home to its famous gallery of former Prime Ministers.

It’s definitely looking more building site than pub at the moment 👀 but the team are hard at work getting everything ready for the new-look Albert.

Standing proudly on Victoria Street while London has changed around it, The Albert is a true survivor ❤️
Originally built in the 1860s and named in tribute to Queen Victoria’s husband, Prince Albert, our Grade II listed pub is the sole surviving building from the original development of Victoria Street.
From its etched glass windows and ornate iron balconies to its unmistakable exterior, there’s Victorian character everywhere you look.
And all of that history will remain at the heart of the transformed Albert.

To get to the pub and restaurant located on Victoria Street in London, there are several public transport options available. The closest tube station is Victoria Station, which can be accessed via the Circle, District, and Victoria lines. From there, take the exit towards Wilton Road and head west along Wilton Road until you reach the intersection with Victoria Street. The pub is located on the corner of this intersection.
Alternatively, you can take a bus to either the Victoria Station or Westminster Cathedral stops. From these stops, head east along Victoria Street until you reach the intersection with Wilton Road.
If driving, there are several paid parking options in the area including Q-Park on Eccleston Bridge or NCP Car Park at Horseferry Road. However, it is worth noting that parking in central London can be expensive and limited so public transport may be a more convenient option.
