Its only the best for our Sunday Roasts and we are so lucky to have 2 mins down the road from the pub.
The best fruit and veg in London, John supplies us with top quality Cyrus potatoes for our roasts potatoes aswell as the other fantastic fresh veg served on your plate!
As well selling top notch fruit and veg on and off since he was 15, John has has an amazing backstory, playing professional footballer for Leyton Orient, Brentford and captaining Reading.

Our massively popular Spice Bags made with fresh breaded chicken, veg, spices and proper chips and curry sauce have been flying out the door.
Give them a go this weekend. Available Saturday and Sunday.
Perfect before, during and after the match.

This Sunday, to celebrate the return of our Sunday Roasts we are giving away a free slice of our delicious and homemade Lily's Apple Crumble with each roast until we run out off our most popular desert!
Its made lovingly and carefully in small batches so get down earlier to get one!
Cosy pub season is upon us so come down this Sunday to The Woodbine for a few pints, the best roast in London and the best homemade apple crumble you'll find anywhere!

Roast season is officially here at The Woodbine!
It's that time of year again where there's nothing better that to get out of the cold and into the pub on a Sunday.
We are incredibly proud to source our ingredients locally, with our meat coming from Godfreys Master Butchers and our veg from White Brothers Highbury, both a couple minutes walk from the pub!
Next week we will have a behind the scenes look at how we put our roasts together and how important it is to keep them local.
For now drop in on Sunday and give them a try!

Our W**e Wednesday offer is on this evening again!
Get two glasses of the same w**e and get the whole bottle on the house!
Here's our two of our favourites this month that are proving very popular with our customers:
Reverie Orange - a deliciously moreish orange w**e with aromas of oranges, ripe peach, blossom and slight nutty and spicy hints.
Chateau Vieux Moulin "I Love You" - a gorgeous zero-added sulphur chilled red from Chateau de Vieux Moulin.
We also have a range of other fantastic reds and whites to choose from!
