🚧 **WE’RE OPEN… WE THINK YOU CAN GET TO US! 🤣🍺**
Croydon Council Highways didn’t respond to our emails, so we’ve been left with **no clear idea whether vehicles will actually be allowed through to the Wattenden today.**
Closing and restricting access to a local business on a busy summer weekend with no proper communication is, frankly, utterly ridiculous. **Thank you, Mayor Perry! 🙃**
BUT… **THE WATT IS OPEN!** 🍻
We want to see all our lovely regulars, so please don’t let the *ROAD CLOSED* signs put you off. **Until 5pm, please park at the aerodrome and walk across to us.**
And we’re keeping everything crossed that they let the **beer delivery through!** 🤞🍺😂

Breakfast Service Update
After two years of serving breakfast, we've made the difficult decision to stop our breakfast service.
Unfortunately, with the rising costs of running a business, the demand hasn't been high enough to make it sustainable.
From now on, The Wattenden Arms will open at 11:30am, seven days a week.
We'd like to thank everyone who supported our breakfast offering over the last two years, and we look forward to welcoming you from 11:30am for lunch, drinks, and everything else you love about the pub.

To reach the pub and British restaurant located on Old Lodge Lane in Kenley, there are several options:
Public transport:
Take the train to Kenley Station and then take a 10-minute walk down Godstone Road, turn left onto Whyteleafe Road, and then continue onto Old Lodge Lane. Alternatively, take bus route 407 or 434 from Purley Station or Croydon town center to Hayes Lane/Grovelands Road bus stop. From there it is approximately a 10-minute walk down Grovelands Road until you reach Old Lodge Lane.
Driving/Parking:
Use the A22 London Road and turn onto Godstone Road. At the roundabout take the exit towards Coulson and then turn left onto Marlpit Lane. Follow this road till you come upon Hayes Lane on your right. Turn right on Hayes lane and follow it up till Grovelands road where you must take a left hand turn. After passing through one crossroads you will find yourself driving down Old Lodge Lane where you can locate parking spots close by.
