Cold coffee season is officially here. But let’s be real, navigating the fridge can get a bit confusing. Concentrates, cold brews, flash brews... what does it all actually mean? 🧊☕️
We’ve stripped back the science on our Journal to look at the two options of our summer lineup, made in partnership with our sister brand :
Coffee Concentrate: Definitely not a cold brew. We flash-brew this hot to lock in those complex fresh espresso aromas. It’s your instant shortcut to perfect iced lattes and breakroom Espresso Martinis.
Cold Brew: 18 hours of pure patience. This one never sees hot water, bypassing the bitterness for a naturally sweet, heavy body that's ready to pour straight over ice.

Say hi to Liam!
Liam, originally from Birmingham, hopped on board at Climpsons in 2024 and quickly got hooked on specialty coffee. He spent three years in Cornwall studying animation and visual effects, and still enjoys practicing the art with a good mocha! When he's not busy with webshop orders, Liam is usually spinning records, honing his baking skills, or hitting the gym.

"The coffee profile hasn't changed. What’s changed is how we get there."
In 2026, our most popular coffee, The Baron, is entering a new chapter. Following a very challenging harvest season in Brazil, we’ve teamed up with our long-time friend Bruno de Souza for a more collaborative, traceable, and resilient way of sourcing. The cup profile stays true—chocolate, nuts, clean sweetness, smooth and dependable.
Fresh for 2026, it features coffee from Fazenda Inhame in Campos Altos, Minas Gerais, and we're calling it "Bruno's Pick"!
Head over to our Journal to read the full story on why we're making this shift, the history behind the original name, and what’s next. As always, the link is in bio!

You can be the type to just want a reliable, fuss-free cup before rushing out the door, or the one who's looking to dial in café-quality espresso on a Sunday morning, or you need something indestructible for your next camping trip, maybe?
In any case, we've put together a guide to match your unique lifestyle with the tools that will make your coffee ritual genuinely enjoyable. Find your perfect setup at the link in bio and oh! if you still can't decide, we've also prepared a Find Your Equipment quiz for ya 😎

32 seconds: not too bad, ay ?
Here at Climpsons, our perfect espresso happens between 28 and 34 seconds. In this series, we manage to squeeze a few questions in just before the timer goes off! Who’s in next for our Rapid Shots? 😉

Here’s how we brew your daily filter. Simple steps, serious flavour. ☕️
Best part about it - you can skip the queue. 👀

Cold brew might seem like a simple summer staple, but the science behind slow extraction is actually quite fascinating. Changing your ratio, your grind size, or even deciding between the fridge and room temperature can completely transform the final cup.
For our next Cupping Club, we are taking a deep dive into cold brew and answering all your questions through a series of live experiments — tasting the exact same coffee across 3 different timings and 3 different ratios, comparing cold brew to coffee concentrates, and tasting our own Climpsons cold brew.

36 seconds on the clock for our Barista and Content Creator, Ernesta!
She went slightly over our 28-34 second rule, but we’ll let her off 😉 Truth is, dialing in espresso is a moving target. Everything from the temperature dropping throughout the day to tiny changes in the grind size can affect your shot time.
We promise it’s not her fault, and her coffees are still top-tier! Come visit her at Broadway Market and taste for yourself, will ya? ☕️

Our kitchen is calling all the way from Deal! 🍳
As we get ready to open our second-ever site right in the heart of Deal this April, we’re looking for people to take the reins of our food offering! The café will run seven days a week, and we need chefs, cooks, bakers and kitchen assistants at all levels to help us deliver thoughtful, seasonal eats and bits using local produce wherever possible.
We are looking for folks who are both quality and people-driven to shape our menu and build a positive kitchen culture. Ideally you’ll have proven experience in a café, restaurant, or casual dining environment; a strong background in brunch, daytime food, or small seasonal menus; compliance with food safety and awareness around food margins, waste reduction and kitchen efficiency.
And hey—if you don’t tick every single box on the requirements list, that’s okay. Apply anyway. We’d much rather meet someone with passion and ideas than someone who ticks all the boxes.
Visit the Careers page at the link in our bio for the full details and perks (yes, endless specialty coffee and a bag of beans to take home each week are included).
