Would have been 101 today Nan ❤️❤️❤️
So this little legend would have been 98 today. 4 years ago she sadly passed away. The following year Nanny Apples Tea Rooms opened. For those of you who don't know, this ladies and gentlemen......Is Nanny Apples herself
As we are allowed to reopen on Saturday following covid restrictions being relaxed we would love if you could pop in and help us raise a glass (of coffee), to the most wonderful woman who blessed our lives ❤

And so concludes our Jubilee Afternoon Teas in aid of Noahs Ark Children's hospice.
We have had a wonderful time hosting and have met some lovely people doing so. Here are just a few pictures we managed to take during the madness.
Thank you so much to all that attended and to those who didn't manage to get a slot but kindly put a donation in the charity box.
Keep your eyes peeled for more afternoon teas coming soon.
Congratulations to our winner of our free prize draw, a lovely lady called Helen who was treated to the afternoon tea by her daughter for her birthday, and will now also be getting a free bouquet of flowers 💐
Also lastly we must thank our wonderful staff member Lily, who without her none of this would have been possible 👏

So here at Oakwood Florist we love a bargain. Which is why we have decided to run a Mother's Day raffle, but we would love to know peoples thoughts on it.
It will be numbered 1-100 and £1 per number. You can pay by bank transfer or visit our beautiful shop to pay in cash and choose your lucky number. The winner will be generated via an online system.
If we sell 50 numbers you will win a voucher for afternoon tea for you and your mum on a day of your choice.
If we sell all 100 numbers, you will win afternoon tea for 4 people on a day of your choice.
This will include a drink, sandwich meal and cake for afters, plus a few secret special treats for your mum.

So many people who come into the tea rooms ask where the name came from.....today feels like a very poignant day to share this with everyone.
The pictures you see below, are of one of the most wonderful ladies to have ever been born. The glue to our family, always when needed. The boss lady. Kind, loving, funny, charming, dependable.....the list goes on and on.
Today marks 3 years since this wonderful lady was taken from our lives, just a few months before her 95th birthday. Just months later, the tea rooms were established. There really was nothing more fitting than to name it after such a wonderful lady, who also happened to love a cuppa.
So for those of you who have asked, the lady in the pictures is our Nan, the absolute legend that was............

Nanny Apples tea rooms just love doing things for Charity. So, I have spent a while thinking of what we can do next. We are thinking about craft sessions, perhaps one in time for Mothers Day.
They will be booked sessions, possibly 2 hours, where your little one can paint a small ceramic pot, we will then varnish it, fill with a plant and wrap in cellophane with a bow, in time for them to collect for their mummy's on Mothers Day. This will be done as a package with a sandwich, drink and cake. 10% of all booking will be donated to Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
Thoughts please?????
