Join Wimbledon Village on 27th June for our Borough’s celebrations for Armed Forces Day 2026.
Parades, live music, remembrance services all best accompanied by a handcrafted picnic Hamper. Fresh food, drinks and a midday tipple all donated by local businesses to show their support. All proceeds donated to Armed Forces charities. They are selling fast so get your hands on them quick!

If you are using public transport, the nearest station is Kings Cross/St. Pancras Station. From there, you can take the bus or tube to reach your destination.
Alternatively, if you are driving, take the A201 towards Central London and follow signs for the City of London. Once in the city, turn onto Fleet Street and continue straight until you reach High Street. The hotel should be on your left-hand side.
Parking options in the area may be limited as it's a busy part of central London but there are several paid parking lots nearby which you can use with reasonable fees.

It is perfectly positioned just a short stroll away from Wimbledon Common and the village, making it an ideal spot for both business and leisure stays. The pub boasts a generously stocked bar with an incredible selection of real ales, as well as a delicious seasonally changing menu featuring your favourite pub classics.
The hotel has 13 cosy bedrooms that are perfect for escaping the ordinary. What's more, being just 10 minutes from Wimbledon train station, it offers easy access to all the attractions of London. The garden at Rose and Crown Hotel is also worth mentioning, with its array of covered tables making it the perfect spot to snuggle up with a hot mulled wine during winter.
The amazing Nicky and faithful pub dog Freddy are always ready to welcome you (and your four-legged friends) to Wimbledon's best dog-friendly pub. With its warm hospitality, fantastic food, and great selection of drinks, Rose and Crown Hotel is definitely worth visiting.
