Ironman Update at 17.54 US time, 22.54 US time.
Dan has done 106 miles. 8 miles left on the bike. And now on the last leg of the Bike, after then he runs the equivalent to a marathon 26 miles.
We are so immensely proud of him to reach this far in the challenge.

So Dan has well and truly started the Ironman Challenge. Completed the Swim and now transitioned to the Cycling.

Chef Dan arrived in Jacksonville yesterday. Checked in for the Ironman Challenge. Bib 1173.
Today he checks in his bike and has the Ironman briefings.
Huge day for our chef tomorrow.

It is now 12 days until Dan competes in the Jacksonville Full Ironman Event - 16th May. For the gruelling 140+ miles that Dan has to endure, let's open our pockets and donate to this great charity which is close to his heart.
No matter how little it is, any amount is greatly appreciated.
At times during the day, we will be going live on Facebook & Instagram to support him. We will also be adding a link on this page so that people can follow his progress. Please bear in mind that Florida has a time difference of five hours behind!

Our chef Dan is competing in the Jacksonville Ironman Event on 16th May.
His chosen Charity is The Alzheimer’s Society. Please help him achieve his target. Any little amount of donation helps towards finding a cure for this awful disease.
We are so proud of Dan for competing in these sporting events.
