What people say
Taste Restaurant at Merton College is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exciting new dining experience. The restaurant is fully staffed by Hospitality and Catering students, who are passionate about their craft and eager to showcase their skills. Taste Restaurant recently hosted a networking event for recruiters from the industry, which was a huge success. Guests were impressed with the range of courses and apprenticeships available, as well as the cocktail making and butchery skills demonstrated by current students. In addition to hosting events, Taste Restaurant also offers masterclasses taught by industry professionals. Recently, Executive Chef Franky Fernandes taught Level 2 Hospitality & Catering students how to fillet fish and prepare garnishes and sauces. This hands-on experience is invaluable for aspiring chefs. If you're a student at Merton College, be sure to check out Taste Restaurant's Freshers Fair for more information on what they have to offer. Overall, Taste Restaurant is a fantastic place to dine and learn about the art of Hospitality and Catering.
