Very sorry to hear that Roger Norwood passed away on 9th May. The funeral is on 10th June at the Nuneaton Crematorium.
Rog taught Sound to hundreds of students at LAMDA and inspired many to take it on as a career.

With the term now over, and the students returning home, we can reflect on the amazing work produced this year so far by our incredibly talented technical students. We’ve so far managed 9 final year productions as well as a number of other shows alongside these, each of the highest quality. To make work in such trying times, with many external pressures is a huge ask, but the students have time and time again risen above this to create some truly amazing shows.
For now, I hope all of our students have a safe and healthy break, and I can’t wait to see what they do next.

We’re now 2 weeks into term with our new First Year students, and our second and third years are now beginning to return as well. It’s been a great few weeks of teaching, with some really amazing students showing such an interest in sound so early on. Next up it’s also time to start rehearsing for some shows with our 2nd and 3rd year students taking on the roles of Sound Designer and Production Sound Engineer.
Chris.
