Have you been missing our chef Azeb Woldemichael's incredible flavours?
From the musky flavours of berbere, slowly simmered for hours to arrive at the intense alloy of textures and flavours. To the sweet, tender caramelization of the cabbage, carrot and potato all nestled on the bubbly and pleasantly sour plate of injera.
Head down to Nags Head Market, Seven Sisters for her divine Ethopian and Eritrean food.

What people say
Mazi Mas is a unique and inspiring restaurant in London that offers more than just delicious food. The name itself, which means 'with us' in Greek, reflects the restaurant's mission to provide employment and training for long-term unemployed women from migrant communities. By dining at Mazi Mas, you are not only treating yourself to vibrant and flavourful dishes that are quintessentially London, but you are also supporting a great cause.
The restaurant's fourfold mission is truly admirable. It aims to provide women with an independent income, develop their culinary skills in a professional setting, reduce social isolation and foster community through collective enterprise, and preserve their recipes and diverse cultural heritages. This makes Mazi Mas not just a place to eat but also a place to learn about different cultures and support women empowerment.
The food at Mazi Mas is simply amazing. Every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, using fresh ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible. From the tender lamb kofta to the fragrant chicken tagine, every bite is bursting with flavour. And let's not forget about the mouth-watering desserts like the baklava or the chocolate mousse.
Overall, Mazi Mas is more than just a restaurant - it's a social enterprise that empowers women while celebrating London's diverse cultural heritage through its delicious food. If you're looking for a unique dining experience that makes a positive impact on society, then Mazi Mas should definitely be on your list of must-visit restaurants in London.
