When it’s smoking hot outside, we get smoking!
This was our beef brisket after a 6 hour stint in the smoker with Applewood Smokin’ Chips.
This tasted as good as it looks. Do try this at home.

You could probably fry a lamb cutlet on the pavement in today’s heat. However, we opted for a griddle pan and oodles of Gymkhana Fine Foods Tandoori paste.
Each of our shops is now filled with fresh new season lamb, like this succulent Suffolk cutlet above. So if (fresh) lamb is your man, grab it while you can. 👌

Three sights that every Sunday should contain.
One advantage of the heat cooling off is making roast dinners more palatable. But we still reserve the right to enjoy a roast in a heatwave 😉 We hope yours is as good as this one with , bread sauce and a deep red wine gravy.

It was National Cheese Day yesterday. And, better late than never, here we are. We all know one day in the life of a proper fermier cheese is nothing. The aging process, or affinage, is a key part of giving a cheese its unique flavour, allowing microorganisms to develop. So you could say, our cheese tastes better today than yesterday 😉
This weekend is the perfect time to visit our cheese, wine and charcuterie cave .
p.s are we the only ones who find the metronomic bleep of our scanner therapeutic?

Come for the meat, stay for the chocolate (and cheese)
Italians do it better when it come to chocolate, and as you can see from the nibbled second pic, this salted caramel delight was too good to resist. Swipe for Lord London on toast and Gruyère, with fig and almond cake in the middle.
