NEW IN THE FRIDGE - MONTGOMERY SQUARE BAR

We’ve made some questionable decisions.

Fortunately, they’re all very good beers.

The latest New in the Fridge has landed at 640East Montgomery Square, with fresh drops, new breweries and limited cans ready to make your “I’m just having a look” considerably more expensive.

We accept no responsibility.

VOICES IN THE SKY

The voices told us to drink this.

Who are we to argue?

Voices in the Sky from is a 4% soft, juicy and easy-drinking pale ale, packed with Eclipse, Chinook and Strata hops for sweet citrus, orange zest and a touch of tropical fruit.

Bright, juicy and just a little otherworldly.

Honestly, we’re starting to trust the voices.

PALE FIRE

It’s 4.8%. It’s juicy. It’s balanced.

Basically, it has absolutely no business being this easy to drink whenever you said you were “just having one.”

Pressure Drop Brewing Pale Fire brings mango, grapefruit and tangerine from Citra & Mosaic, with enough bitterness to remind you this is, in fact, beer.

One is probably enough. Probably.

£1 coffee? We must have lost the plot.

On Wednesday 2nd September, Thomson's Coffee Roasters are taking over 640 East.

8AM–5PM — all Thomson’s coffee drinks £1*
6PM onwards — coffee cupping, because apparently drinking coffee normally wasn’t enough.

Come caffeinate. Come taste. Come pretend you can identify “notes of apricot and sandalwood.”

640 East, Montgomery Square
Everyone welcome.

*£1 coffee offer subject to stock availability

NEW IN THE FRIDGE // WATER STREET
Against all odds… we’ve bought more beer.

This is your regular excuse to pop into 640East Water Street and “just have a look”. We’ll keep you updated with every new arrival, limited release and fridge favourite worth knowing about.

Here’s what’s landed.

Every minute matters.
Unless you’re waiting for your mate who’s “five minutes away.”

Every Minute Matters from Siren Craft Brew is a 7.2% California IPA brewed with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops, pouring crisp, clean, resinous goodness with a refreshing finish.
Some things are worth the wait. This isn’t one of them. Grab a can.

The French call it joie de vivre. We call it “one more, please.”

Côte Citron combines crisp lager with real lemons from Menton to create a 3.4% radler that’s bright, aromatic and made for pretending tomorrow isn’t Monday.

Disco’s not dead. It’s just drinking cider now.

Wild Disco is Nightingale Cider Company flagship 5.5% sparkling cider, made from 100% Discovery apples grown on their Tenterden farm, wild fermented and naturally carbonated.
Crisp, clean and refreshingly tart, with fresh green apple, white flowers and a long, gently dry finish.

Dancing is optional.

SOME OF YOU ARE ABOUT TO FIND OUT THAT COFFEE DOESN’T JUST TASTE LIKE… COFFEE.

We’re teaming up with Irish specialty coffee roasters Bell Lane to bring BrewStorm to 640East on Thursday 13th August.

BrewStorm is a relaxed blind coffee tasting challenge that invites you to put your taste buds to the test, identifying the differences in origin, process and variety of each coffee. It’s fun, educational, and a chance to discover just how diverse specialty coffee can be.

Bell Lane is a B Corp Certified specialty coffee roaster based in Mullingar, Ireland. Roasting since 2012, they work directly with producers to bring coffees that are exceptional in the cup, ethically sourced and transparently traded.

The event is completely FREE, with some incredible prizes up for grabs along the way.

Bring your coffee-loving mates… or bring the friend who orders a “regular coffee” and let them find out what they’ve been missing.

We’ll provide the coffee. You provide the overconfidence.

HR has asked us to stop calling every dank IPA “our favourite”.
This isn’t helping.
A 5.8% hazy IPA from ABYSS Brewing Abyss, packed with Chinook, Columbus and Simcoe hops, bringing piney, juicy flavour with a smooth, low-bitterness finish.
We’ll be taking this up with HR.

NEW IN THE FRIDGE - 640East Montgomery Squre
We buy great beer. We write questionable captions.
Welcome to our new series, where we’ll keep you up to date with everything new in the fridge.
Expect fresh beers, terrible jokes, and the occasional reminder that your beer fridge deserves better than what you have at home.

STAFF HAVE BEEN TOLD NOT TO REVEAL THE SECRET SAUCE.
So we’ll just tell you it’s a 5.7% hazy IPA from Villages Brewery , loaded with Dolcita hops and tasting like peaches, peaches & cream and crème de pêche.
The rest? You’ll have to investigate yourself… grab a can!

We’d have stocked the actual ocean… but the delivery charge was ridiculous.
Instead, we’ve got Ocean Size from Siren Craft Brew .
A juicy 5.1% hazy IPA packed with Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Idaho 7 and Citra hops, bringing waves of tropical fruit and citrus.
Much easier to fit in the fridge.

Baby Shark got older. Got bigger. Got… dankier.
Baby Shark’s Bigger Brother from Verdant Brewing Co is now pouring.
A cult 6.5% IPA bursting with heaps of Citra, heaps of Galaxy and waves of dank, tropical flavour, all wrapped up in that signature fluffy Verdant body.
No doo doo doo. Just pour pour pour.

NEW ON THE BAR.

Meet PARAKEET from Villages brewery.
A Peach & Apricot Sour that’s so packed with fruit, we’re still not convinced it counts as one of your five a day.
Juicy peach. Ripe apricot. A touch of vanilla. Light, tart and dangerously drinkable at 4.8%.
Brewed in the historic railway arches of Deptford, Villages Brewery has been bringing people together over great beer since 2016. Community is at the heart of everything they do—and we couldn’t think of a better brewery to welcome onto our bar.
So... who’s getting the first round?

08/05/2026

Two days.
A lot of lager.
Questionable dancing.
An irresponsible amount of crisps.
LAGERFEST DONE.

Big thank you to everyone who came down to make Lagerfest our favourite kind of chaos and more so for collaborating brewery

Massive love to the breweries who kept the pints flowing:
beer

Also shoutout to the DJ for turning Montgomery Square into a beer garden rave for 48 hours straight.

We honestly weren’t sure if Canary Wharf was ready for this much lager… turns out it absolutely was.

Anyway. Rest up. Hydrate.
We may or may not already be planning the next one!!
