Met one of my idols today.
she is one the first black women regarding food on the TV I Could resonate with.
Andi was the presenter for tonight's awards ceremony.
Love how she speaks about the Caribbean but how she celebrates food.
She is truly an inspiration 😊

Women in Food & Drinks Awards
What an amazing event. Watching all the categories was amazing.
Mixing with people from Scotland, Birmingham was so uplifting.
A lot can be learned from this award ceremony. Tomorrow I will speak about my experience when my team went to a different award ceremony. Things happen but sometimes we have to make it right for your guests.
Anyway more alcohol free wine for me 😂

Funeral Reception at Club Langley
Our client was referred to us to provide catering services for the funeral of his beloved wife.
To personalise the occasion, we inquired about her preferred colors. Her favorite colour was blue, and we complemented this with accents of white, creating a tasteful and elegant atmosphere.
The client requested a menu that included soup, a main course, and dessert.
Our offerings ranged from jerk chicken to escovitch fish, both of which received positive feedback from guests.
For dessert, we served classic apple crumble accompanied by rich, creamy custard with a touch of vanilla, which was well appreciated.

Funeral
Following the passing of my niece's father, our family chose to support the family by providing all the catering services for the memorial event.
Since we do not have an on-site kitchen, we arranged to offer the Silver Funeral Menu to honor the occasion.
Our team worked diligently to ensure that the day proceeded smoothly. It was a heartfelt and respectful farewell.

India Funeral
Last year, we had the opportunity to provide catering services for a 90th birthday celebration. A guest at the event kindly expressed her appreciation for the quality of our cuisine.
Several months later, the same guest's father sadly passed away. She contacted us to request catering services for his funeral reception.
Her father's close friend was originally from Jamaica and had a fond appreciation for Jamaican cuisine.

Positivity, Change and Reflection.
Whenever I looked at this picture of my brother Max and me, I am often moved to tears. However, today I view it with feelings of joy and gratitude. It reminds me of what I have accomplished and where I will be in 2026.
My brother used to say that change requires courage; strength and self-confidence are essential.
As I move forward to 2026, I am committed to self-forgiveness and maintaining a positive outlook. I am embracing and overcoming challenging situations for new growth.
