Just a quick health update for everyone who has messaged me over the last few weeks.
A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and on 17 June I underwent major surgery.
As many of you can see, my neck is still swollen, bruised and healing. I’ve also temporarily lost my voice… and if you know me, that’s a pretty big deal! 😂
Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel some events and collaborations while I recover. We genuinely tried everything possible to make them happen, but some things were simply beyond our control.
I want to thank everyone who has reached out, sent messages, checked in on me and supported my family during this difficult time. It means more than you know.
For now, my focus is on recovery, getting stronger and getting back to doing what I love.
We’ll be back soon.

What a weekend at Fume Festival. 🔥🍨
A huge thank you to Eating With Tod for the support and for giving us the opportunity to share something truly special with the crowd.
This weekend we took a one-in-a-million Black Italian Truffle, turned it into Black Truffle Gelato, and then finished it with an entire 1kg of fresh Black Italian Truffle.
A crazy idea, an incredible audience, and a moment we’ll never forget.
A massive thank you to the whole Fume Festival team, everyone who stopped to watch, taste, and be part of the experience.
These are the moments that make all the hard work worthwhile.

Today we shared one of our most exciting creations with the crowd — BBQ Smoked Pineapple Sorbet finished with Tajín, bringing together smoke, sweetness, citrus, and a gentle kick of chilli.
Seeing the whole Bertotti family on stage made this moment even more special. What started as a dream 14 years ago has grown through hard work, passion, and the incredible support of our community.

Today is the day.
A few weeks ago, a simple scan changed my life.
This morning I’m heading into surgery. I’m feeling positive, focused, and ready for the next chapter.
If my journey teaches anything, let it be this:
Don’t wait for symptoms. Don’t put it off. Go and get yourself checked.
Early detection can make all the difference.

To reach the ice cream shop, cafeteria, and coffee shop at Hammersmith Grove in London, you can use either public transport or your own vehicle.
Public Transport:
- The nearest tube station is Hammersmith Station (District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines). Upon exiting the station, turn left onto King Street and continue straight for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Hammersmith Grove. Turn right on Hammersmith Grove and walk for another 5 minutes. The shops will be on your left.
- Several bus routes serve the area including 9, 10, 27, 33, 72, 190, 209, 211, 220, 267 and 295 which stop nearby on King Street.
Driving/Parking:
- From Central London take the A4 westwards until you reach Hammersmith roundabout. At the roundabout take the exit onto King Street/A219 towards Hammersmith. Continue straight until you reach Hammersmith Grove where you should turn right. The shops will be on your left.
- Limited payment parking is available on-street next to the shops as well as at Kings Mall Shopping Centre car park which is within walking distance of Bertotti.
