This coming Wednesday Wine Club takes us on a Catalan adventure. A line-up built around producers working thoughtfully, organically, and close to the land. A little walk on the wild side, one might say.
Our babes are back in the house, and with Alex will be working the room and on hand with a selection of bottles he’s particularly excited about, alongside the stories, knowledge and conversations that come with them.
We’ll be pouring wines from and throughout the evening, growers and makers producing expressive, low-intervention wines that feel full of energy, texture and place.
Lucy Chilvers, based in Penedès, works gently with local varieties and old vines, making wines that feel bright, alive and deeply drinkable.
La Rural, the project of Xavi and Andreu Padró, focuses on small-scale organic farming and sulphur-free winemaking in Catalunya, producing wines that lean into freshness, purity and a real sense of the landscape they come from.
Expect pours of Parellada, Malvasia de Sitges, Garnatxa Rosada, Claret, Sumoll and more, alongside a concise menu of seasonal plates from designed for sharing across the table.
Drop in for a glass, settle in with a bottle, or explore the evening through a tasting flight. And if you find something you love, we’ll have bottles to take away and will be able to arrange local delivery of anything we sell out of for your weekend stock-up.
Low pressure, proper wine and shared plates. What more could you want for!
