Last Thursday we had the pleasure of hosting Greenwich Office Drinks alongside our friends at the South East London Chamber of Commerce. It was a fun networking evening with competitions (Guess the Coffee Origin, Best Latte Art etc), factory tours and, of course, a delicious selection of tea and coffee based cocktails. Our thanks go to the hard working Drury and SELCC teams who made the evening such a great success.

Did you know that most of our packaging is now biodegradable, home compostable or recyclable? We’ve just introduced recyclable pyramid tea bag envelopes for hotel rooms (not all varieties yet, but we’re getting there) and recyclable filter coffee sachets for hospitality sales. In fact, every time we order a new line of packaging we ensure it’s sustainable.

Congratulations to Len Hewitt, a stalwart of our delivery team, who celebrates 40 years at Drury today! We were going to work out how many tonnes of tea and coffee he’s delivered over the past four decades - but gave up! Well done Len, what a brilliant achievement.

They learnt all the key skills to make great coffee over the four hour lesson, and even had a go at latte art! Donato Savorani 1951 - 2025.
It is with the greatest sorrow that we announce the death of Donato Savorani. Donato worked at Drury from 1988 up to his retirement in 2018. Known equally for his boundless energy, enthusiasm and joie de vivre, he was the mainstay of our sales team for thirty years.
He was instrumental in cementing Drury’s place as one of London’s foremost coffee roasters, his effortless charm winning over the most recalcitrant of grumpy chefs.
Our condolences are extended to his wife Verona, daughter Giorgia (who stepped into his stylish shoes at Drury) and sons Oliver and Max.
Donato, the world is a sadder, quieter, and less chaotic place without you, wherever you are may your basket be full of porcini and truffles and your wine glass never be empty - sleep well, dear friend.

This weekend marks the 10th anniversary of the completion of our move to The Royal Arsenal. There’s been lots of ups and downs over the past decade, but one thing for sure is that we absolutely love our Woolwich home, and we’re here for many more years to come!

To reach the Io Centre in London, you have a couple of convenient options for public transport and driving.
**Public Transport:**
1. **Tube:** The nearest underground station is Holborn (Central and Piccadilly Lines). From Holborn Station, it's about a 10-minute walk. Exit the station and head south on Kingsway, then turn left onto Drury Lane.
