📍 A glimpse into history…
Swipe to travel back in time to the iconic Doric Arch — once the grand entrance to Euston Station. Built in 1837, this monumental gateway stood as a symbol of Victorian ambition and engineering. Sadly, it was demolished in 1962 during redevelopment, sparking one of the UK’s earliest major heritage preservation debates.
But history never truly disappears…
A piece of this legendary structure still lives on — right here with us at The Doric Arch Pub 🍻
Yes, the original stone you see in our pub is a real surviving fragment of this lost landmark.
👉 If you’re a history lover (or just curious), come by and see it up close!
And while you’re here…
🥧 Try our newly launched Pie, Mash & Gravy — proper comfort food done right
🍺 Pair it with a few perfectly poured pints in a cosy, historic setting
Good food, great drinks, and a story to tell.
