With summer almost at a close we invite you to our own “Royal Ascot” evening. A night of fun, laughs, and memories as we look to raise some money for James Box of Smiles. We are looking to raise enough to send families of children with cancer to Lego land with an overnight stay in the Lego land hotel .
Tickets and spaces will be limited and we would love to see you, there will be no tickets available on the door so please contact me now to secure your place. Food will be served, full bar available and 6 exciting horse races on the big screen with our own charity bookie who is happy to take your money!
As with any race day, it’s the perfect excuse to get your glad rags on and dust off your top hat. A prize will be given to the best dressed on the night!
If you can’t make it then you can still support the charity by buying a horse or if your company would like to sponsor a race 🐎 or donate a raffle prize please let me know.

For those of you who didn’t know.
James sadly passed away on the 2nd Sep while on the Isle of Wight .
Most of you know James had a brain tumour and was very complex.
He was admitted to ICU and we kind of knew how serious things were . but he still kept his smile and sense of humour about him.
I decided that I didn’t want a house full of flowers as a memory and thought Lego 🌟 James loved his Lego and spent many hours building it.
It was his happy place he’d say 😊
So people started donating boxes of Lego 😍 we were so overwhelmed by the kindness of friends family and strangers.
WOW everyday another box would arrive .. neighbours taking deliveries if we weren’t in.
It made us Smile 😊

We are continuing to fundraise and support the Royal Marsden children charities Teenage cancer trust and Cancer v young lives .
Life in hospital is tough at the best of times let alone if your child is in isolation with not much to do other than screen time.
I know the Marsden have been grateful for the many donations.
You have made many a child /teen smile

The cake kitchen has been a little quiet since the passing of James but I’m slowly getting back to it.
With the help from Charlotte my baking buddy I’m back taking orders.
Every order placed a donation will go towards “James Box of Smiles “ and keep his Lego legacy going.
