We here at Venus would like to wish all our customers, good and bad, a very very merry Easter and a happy bye bye to Lent. 🐣We gave up days off for Lent so to break it we’re having TWO DAYS OFF! So that means no Venus til Tuesday morning. Sorry ‘bout that, but it’ll be worth it when you see how refreshed we all are on Tuesday. If you’re looking for a nice time tomorrow though we’ll be playing a few records and low quality MP3’s at our sister cafe for their totally eggciting Easter eggstravaganza. BTW Sunday opening coming from first week of May! 🕊

It's Saturdaaaay!!! How happy it could be?! We, Venus can make it happier with home made Rösti with Bacon, Fried Egg, Beetroot horse radish🐷Vegetarian version is also available🥑Another special is American pancake served with fruits compote, yoghurt, homemade syrup on top🐣both are £7!

Thanks for being so understanding about us closing the past two days to cook for the telly and pay our rent and a few bills. We’re back open now and every day except Sunday. But hopefully from next week we’ll be open Sunday’s too! WiFi coming on Friday, in the meantime come and read a book 🧜🏼‍♀️💕

Happy Mothers Day to our dear materfamilias. Thanks for all your love and support over the past few thousand years. We love you we do we do 🙏🏼. Now we have some good news and bad news....
GOOD NEWS: We have a catering job at Venus for the next two days which will basically pay our bills for the month
BAD NEWS: There’s 65 people coming for breakfast, lunch and snacks. So we’ll be massively limited in what we can provide for you all the next two days. Pretty much guaranteed we will have to close between 12 and 3.30 at least. But basically if you’re planning to eat at ours in the next few days, maybe have a back up. On the bright side, any leftovers from the catering we’ll be sharing out so come by to our mass giveaway, Tuesday around 5.30pm 🧜🏼‍♀️💕
