And that’s a wrap. Three family generations later and it’s now time to say goodbye to you all.
To anyone that has worked with us, followed us, or come across us in the past 20 years - thank you. Really, thank you so much. It’s been a great run that we’ve had here for as long as we did.
We’ve been lucky enough to build some incredible life long relationships with many of our customers and we thank each and every one of you for making this such a great journey.
So here’s a final farewell to all the people that we’ve met along the way. We hope to keep in touch in some way - you never know how paths will cross again in the future.
Honestly and earnestly—thank you.
Mario & family.

Dear customers,
As some of you may be aware, we are in the process of closing down due to the end of our tenancy. LB Merton have granted us an extension to vacate and now we hope to continue trading until approximately 16 April 2023 where we will hand back the keys on 21 April 2023.
We will therefore be serving only what we have left in stock and providing a reduced menu.
We apologise for any disappointment this may cause, but we will endeavour to provide as full a service as possible in the lead up to our closure.
We are so grateful to you all, for your continuing support.
Mario & family.

It is with an extremely sad and frustrated heart that we must inform all our customers that the London Borough of Merton has denied the renewal of our tenancy for Wimbledon Park Cafe after nearly 20 years.
Wimbledon Park Cafe could not have been as successful as it was without all our customers and employees support and loyalty. It is all thanks to you we were able to come so far. Me and my family will never forget the amount of support we have received over the years and we thank you for being with our family in all its ups and downs.
I know a lot of our team, myself included, have some very fond memories from our time here and we have built some incredible lifelong relationships.
Therefore, it is with huge sadness that the cafe will close under our management from Tuesday 28th March to allow us to clear the site before handing back the keys on Friday 31st March.
We will remain open for food, drink and hospitality until that time and we hope that you will come and see us and support the team with one last coffee.
We also hope you will continue to support us in our other venue at Southwark Park Pavilion Cafè.
We are unsure of what the future holds or if we will ever return to the park one day. But until that time comes, we say goodbye to you all and we wish you and your families the best for the future ahead.
Sincerely,
Mario and family.
